Park Ridge This Summer: What's Actually New Between Brae Boulevard and Kinderkamack

For most of the last decade, if you asked a Park Ridge resident where to take a visitor to dinner, the answer lived on Kinderkamack Road. The Park Steakhouse, Aegean Estiatorio, Pesto Italian Bistro, the Ridge Diner. That was the map. The corporate side of town near the Marriott and the old Sony campus was somewhere you dropped a relative off, not somewhere you ate.

That map is quietly getting redrawn this summer. A new restaurant is opening on Brae Boulevard, an anchor diner just finished a major expansion on Kinderkamack, and the Borough's own summer calendar has settled into a rhythm that gives residents a reason to stay in town on Saturdays. If you have lived here a while, three specific things are worth knowing before Labor Day.

Brae Boulevard is picking up a real restaurant, not just a hotel bar

The most concrete change to the local dining map this year is happening at 300 Brae Boulevard.
